In 2003, DCMS was formed to offer the complete design & build services for any commercial environment. Equipped with over thirty years of experience Matt Young, Founder & CEO, saw an opportunity to approach projects differently. By combining his expertise in Architecture, General Contracting, and Project Management, he was able to maximize customer satisfaction and ensure project success. Since that time, DCMS has continued to expand their breadth of service lines to include Facilities Management and Modular Furniture.

In 2003, Matt realized the Commercial Real Estate industry was extremely siloed and set out to make a change. With experience in CAD, facility management, general contracting, and even telecommunications, he decided to form Design and Construction Management Services – a company that could truly function as a one stop shop for customers. Since that time, DCMS has grown substantially and continued to provide excellence in customer support within the industry.
Co-Owner, Vice President & Treasurer
Crystie’s primary role at DCMS is to provide a strategic financial and operational focus. She comes to DCMS from a hospital background, ensuring that all decisions are made both quickly and rationally, while guaranteeing focus and attention stays on the customer. This style of servant leadership continues to bolster her overall business acumen, and consequently her vision has propelled DCMS to new heights.
With over twenty years of experience in the Commercial Real Estate industry, Mike has significant experience in construction & renovations, CAD design, value engineering, and project management. He excels at cost and schedule management in addition to his exemplary communication skills. Mike is a great addition to any project and always works hard to ensure the customer is satisfied with the final product.
Client Relations Manager / Project Manager
Since graduating from Auburn University, Kristen has focused on client satisfaction and strategy. In 2014, she obtained her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and has continued to grow in her role as a project manager. In 2018, Kristen came to DCMS and has continued to focus on client relationships and strategic growth, in addition to project management.
